A direct follow on from the Coolpix S1 and S2, the Coolpix S3 is even slimmer, more elegant and more compact. The S3
manages to squeeze a 3x Zoom-Nikkor ED lens into an aluminium body that
is only 19.7 mm thick. This is backed up by a 6 megapixel sensor and
Nikon digital image processing technology.
The absense of an optical
viewfinder has enabled Nikon to include a 2.5" ACL screen that gives
you all you need to compose your shots and check the results.
Amongst the functions on the Coolpix S3
you will find D-Lighting to correct shots taken in low light conditions
and face priority mode to ensure that faces are always in focus.
Supplied with a docking station for quick and easy picture viewing and transfer on your television or computer, the Coolpix S3 offers a high performance camera in a compact form.
